Terms of Service

These Terms of Service define the rights, obligations, and other necessary matters between Soulit (the "Service") and its users regarding the use of the AI character chat service.

1. "Service" refers to all features provided by Soulit (soulit.app), including AI character creation, chat, image generation, and related functions.
2. "User" refers to anyone who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
3. "Credits" are virtual currency purchased within the Service to access paid features.
4. "Character" refers to an AI chat partner created by a user or shared by other users.
5. "User-Generated Content (UGC)" refers to all content created or uploaded by users through the Service, including characters, conversations, and images.

1. These Terms become effective when posted on the Service or communicated to users through other means.
2. The Service may amend these Terms when reasonable grounds arise, provided such amendments do not violate applicable laws. Amended Terms will be announced through in-Service notices.
3. Users who do not agree to the amended Terms may discontinue use and delete their account.

1. Users may register through social login (Google, etc.) or email.
2. Every creator on the Service is an AI-generated persona, not a real person, and all creator photographs are generated by AI.
3. Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information and may not register using another person's identity.
4. Users are responsible for managing their own accounts. The Service is not liable for damages resulting from unauthorized use of accounts.

1. The Service provides the following features:
   • AI character creation and customization
   • One-on-one chat with AI characters
   • AI image generation
   • Credit top-up and usage
2. The Service may modify its offerings for operational or technical reasons, with prior notice.
3. The Service offers both free usage limits and paid credit-based access.

1. Credits are virtual currency used to access paid features such as chat and image generation within the Service.
2. We support card payments (via Lemon Squeezy) and cryptocurrency payments (via NOWPayments). The respective payment processor's terms of service apply during each payment process.
3. Purchased credits are non-refundable. However, refund requests may be made within the cooling-off period as required by applicable law.
4. The Service may change credit pricing and package configurations, with prior notice.
5. Credits are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase and may expire after this period.

1. Users may create content such as characters, conversations, and images through the Service.
2. All responsibility for user-generated content lies with the user who created it. The Service does not guarantee the legality, accuracy, or appropriateness of user-generated content.
3. Users must not create or share content that:
   • Infringes on others' likeness or intellectual property rights
   • Uses unauthorized photos or clearly impersonates real individuals
   • Violates applicable laws
   • Interferes with the normal operation of the Service
4. The Service may remove or restrict access to content that violates the above without prior notice.

Users must not engage in the following activities:

1. Using another person's identity
2. Disrupting Service operations or placing excessive load on systems
3. Using the Service in violation of laws or public morals
4. Circumventing or disabling the Service's technical protections
5. Using the Service for unauthorized commercial purposes

1. The Service may be temporarily suspended for unavoidable reasons such as system maintenance, equipment replacement, or force majeure.
2. The Service is not liable for user damages caused by service interruptions, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

1. The Service is powered by AI technology. The accuracy, reliability, and appropriateness of AI-generated content are not guaranteed.
2. The Service has no obligation to intervene in and is not liable for disputes between users or between users and third parties.
3. AI character responses are for entertainment purposes only and should not be considered professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise).

1. Users may request account deletion at any time through the Service.
2. Upon account deletion, personal information and created content will be retained for the period required by applicable law, then destroyed.
3. Unused credits at the time of account deletion will be forfeited and are non-refundable.

1. These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
2. In the event of a dispute arising from the use of the Service, both parties shall make reasonable efforts to resolve it amicably. If unresolved, either party may file a claim with the competent court.
