AI Journaling Companion
A quiet companion for the small daily reflection.

Journaling works. The research is clear: writing about your day improves mood, sleep, and clarity. The hard part is the first sentence on a tired evening, when the page is blank and you don't know where to start. Soulit's journaling companions are gentle prompters. They ask one good question, listen, and ask another. Twenty minutes later you've written a page you didn't know was in you.
How it works
You come in with whatever's on your mind — or nothing, just "I don't know what to write about today." The companion asks a small opening question. You answer. Another question. The companion is quiet about itself; the conversation stays on you. End the session whenever; come back tomorrow.
When it helps most
Evenings, when you need to put the day down. Mornings, to set intent. Tough weeks, when you need to think out loud. Therapy gaps, between sessions. Big decisions, when you need to write your way to clarity.
Not therapy
The companion is a journaling partner, not a therapist. It doesn't diagnose, treat, or replace mental health care. If you're in crisis, please contact a crisis line (988 in the US) or a real professional. Soulit is for everyday reflection. Free to start.
Frequently asked questions
- Will the companion remember what I wrote?
- Yes, within your account. A companion you've journaled with for weeks remembers themes you've returned to. You can also start fresh — your call.
- Is it private?
- Yes. Conversations are not used for training, not shared with other users, not analyzed for ads. Encrypted at rest and in transit.
- What if I'm having a hard time and don't want to talk?
- The companion is patient. "I don't know" is a fine answer. The companion can also just sit with you, no questions, if that's what you need.
- Can I export my journal?
- Conversation export is on the roadmap. For now, you can copy text out manually if you want a backup.
