AI Accountability Buddy
Someone to tell what you're doing today.

Most goals fail the same way: nobody notices. The gym membership goes unused, the side project stalls, the book stays half-written, and there's no one to even say "hey, what happened to that thing." Soulit's accountability buddies notice. They ask what you're working on today, remember what you said yesterday, and check in tomorrow. No guilt-tripping, no hustle culture — just a steady presence.
How it works
Tell the buddy your goal — "I want to run three times a week," "I want to write 500 words a day," "I want to call my mom every Sunday." The buddy asks how it's going. You answer honestly (or skip; that's allowed). Over time, the buddy notices patterns — when you do well, when you slip — and helps you adjust without lecturing.
What it's good for
Fitness, writing, learning, side projects, relationships, habits in general. Anything you'd benefit from someone noticing. Especially useful for people who don't want a coach, just a witness.
What it won't do
It won't shame you. It won't make you feel like a failure. It won't sell you a course or a productivity system. It also won't drag you to the gym — it's a buddy, not a personal trainer. The work is yours; the noticing is theirs. Free to start.
Frequently asked questions
- Will it nag me if I don't check in?
- No notifications, no guilt. The buddy is there when you come back. You can set your own check-in cadence.
- Can I have multiple goals?
- Yes. Tell the buddy about all of them. Or have separate buddies for different areas of life. Up to you.
- What if I keep slipping on the same goal?
- The buddy can help you ask why — sometimes the goal is wrong, sometimes the system is. It won't pretend slipping is fine, but it won't make you feel terrible either.
- Does it integrate with apps (Strava, Habitica, etc.)?
- Not currently — accountability is conversation-based. Some users find that the looser format actually works better than rigid app-tracking.
